Dangerous Heat Continues through Wednesday

A Heat Advisory remains in effect today (Monday) for the Capital District, Lake George Saratoga Region, Mid-Hudson Valley, central/southern Taconics, Montgomery County, Connecticut Valley, and Litchfield Hills. The Heat Advisory was expanded to include the Berkshires as well. Heat indices of 95-100 degrees are expected in the advisory area. Additional Heat Advisories will likely be necessary in some areas Tuesday and Wednesday.

In addition, there is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms on Wednesday.
