LT. Colonel Timothy Bruce Stewart was born October 18, 1949 in Greenwich, NY to Gertrude and Walter Stewart. He was one of five children. Siblings include brothers, James, Paul, Thomas and a sister Christy.
After graduation from Greenwich Central School, Class of 1967, Tim enlisted in the US Air Force Academy studying Pre-Med, however his true calling was to become a fighter pilot for the next 17 years, serving his country from 1967 until 2000. In 1989, Tim was involved in a very serious flight accident. While flying an F15A jet at high speed the aircraft encountered a wiring malfunction making the jet uncontrollable requiring ejection. His seat malfunctioned causing severe injuries including a traumatic brain injury, broken neck, humerus, ribs and jaw. After several months of rehabilitation, Tim was approved to return to active duty.  He finished his career as "Red Flag" Director of Staff after being the first and only non-flying Director of Operations.

Tim met his beautiful wife Patty Marie Weis while hitch-hiking to Denver. She picked him up and he never let her go.  They married in June of 1972 and welcomed their daughter Marnie in 1975.

Throughout Tim's service, he was assigned to many locations in the US and around the world including, Madrid, Italy, and Turkey. Tim feels his greatest contribution as a fighter pilot instructor was that everyone he had a part in training maintained a 100% record of not a single air to air F15 was ever shot down by enemy aircraft.

Tim had the great honor of serving as a Presidential Flight Advance Agent responsible for setting up aircraft arrivals, security, ground support and departure procedures at any location the President, Vice-President or designated VIP traveled.  Tim and Patty and a White House photographer met with President Ronald Reagan for a personal visit. He also had the privilege of shaking hands with Pope Paul II.

After retiring from the military, Tim and Patty were ready for some green trees and grass. In July 2000, Tim took a position with Boeing Aerospace Operations moving to Yorktown, VA. Sadly, later that spring, Patty developed health issues. He retired to care for her 24/7 until her passing in 2012. Tim moved to a new home in Nevada spending time with his daughter Marnie and three grandchildren.
