Philip G. Pesez enlisted for 4 years (December 1963—December 1967).  He served as a Communication Technician for the Naval Security Group at overseas duty stations in Turkey (Karamucel Base in Instanbul Harbor) and Spain (Rota).  He held a top secret cryptographic security clearance functioning as a Communication Technician—classified.  He received the “National Defense Service Medal”.

Philip was born on July 7, 1941 in Glens Falls, NY.  He grew up in South Glens Falls.  He graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Glens Falls in 1959.  In 1963 he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston College.   He married Frances Cook in Glens Falls on June 6, 1960.  They had five children: Kristine Pesez Milham, Shireen Pesez Rhoades, Stephanie Pesez, Philip pesez, Nichole Pesez Calabrese.  They also had 12 Grandchildren: Anna, John, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Tommy, Jayson, Christopher, Christian, Adeline, Brielle, Brendan and Andrew.

He was employed at the International Paper Company in Corinth, NY from 1967—1970 as an Assistant Personnel Manager; Sherwood Medical Industries in Argyle, NY from 1970—1976 as an Employment Manager; Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in Schenectady, NY from 1976—1999 as First Personnel Manager; the US Census Bureau in Saratoga County in 2000 and the Saratoga County Office of the Aging in Saratoga, NY from 2001—2006.

Philip passed away on December 8, 2010.
