George J. Mincher, Jr., MP was stationed at Governor's Island and at the D & H Rail Station in Albany, NY during WWII.

George attended Halfmoon School on Churchill Road and was brought up in the Town of Halfmoon.

George worked for Behr Manning, A & P Tea Compay and Child’s Samaritan Services.

George and his wife Dorothy Weaver Mincher had two sons and two daughters;  Donald, Carol,  Robert and Sue. 

George was the son of the late George S. Mincher, Sr. and Ada Mincher, and Stepmother Louise Mincher.

George passed away in 2005 at the age of 81.
