Harry Loos served during WWII in the U.S. Army. He was wounded two times and was awarded a Purple Heart with an Oakleaf cluster. He was at the landing in Anzio, Italy. He received other awards, but he did not like to talk about his time in the war. He later joined the USAF and served until his discharge in 1960. After serving his country with distinction, he went back to his home in New York State enjoying his family, his friends and working at his second love, auto mechanics.
