Detachment as executive officer and the Eight Army Stockade as assistant confinement officer.  For a period of time he was the confinement officer and detachment commander, awaiting a high ranked officer to be assigned from the states.  During this time as head of the facility, his unit achieved the highest marks from the annual review by Eighth Army Staff.  Typically, once a week he was duty officer for evening town patrol to include Inchon and ASCOM areas, with the 728 M.P. Upon returning to the states, Lt. Jordan was assigned to Fort Dix, New Jersey with the 716M.P. Jordan was cited for outstanding performance of duty.  Over the following four years he performed his reserve commitment with the 98th Infantry Division in Schenectady, New York.  Here, one weekend per month in Schenectady and two weeks summer active duty at Fort Dix was required.  Following active reserve duty he committed to inactive reserve status and in 1973 he was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain.

In 1965, Jeff married his sweetheart Barbara and pursued a successful 45 year career in real estate valuation.  Together they raised three wonderful children; Kimberly, Lisa and Jeffrey.  Kim is a deputy sheriff with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department.
