A/1C—Stephen A. Gatulik was born  in Cohoes , NY on July 1, 1932.  He attended Cohoes Schools.  He enlisted in the United States Air For in June, 1952.  Tony served 4 years of active duty in Korea and Japan, and remained in the Reserves  for 4 years until May 1960.

In May of 1957, Tony married Helen and raised their 4 adored children.  Anthony R., Diane, Sharon and Steven.  They had 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great– grandchildren.  Tony was employed for 37 years by Altech Specialty Steel Mill in Watervliet, NY.  After retiring he continued working at Albany Memorial Hospital for 19 years.  He enjoyed camping and traveling with Helen.   They also loved to take the grandchildren along  and spend time in the outdoors with them.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, biking and keeping in touch with old friends. 

Tony missed 3 days of work in all of his 56 years of employment and that was due to chicken pox.  He was very dedicated to work and his family.  He was a true gentleman.
