Will I need to renew my partial tax exemption for senior citizens for the upcoming 2023-2024 tax year?
Yes. Our office will be sending out renewal applications for RP-467, the partial tax exemption for senior citizens at the end of December.
Each taxing jurisdiction(school district, town and county) sets their own limits as to the sliding scale that is employed to determine eligibility. Please call our office with any questions.
All applications (RP-467) are due back signed with a live signature along with copies of all income statements from 2022 by taxable status date, which is March 1, 2024.
