Located adjacent to the Town Hall, this building is an open-air building equipped with picnic tables and rest rooms. A playground is located next to building and tennis courts are nearby. Grills are not provided, however, you may bring your own.
The Pavilion is rented between May – mid October. It is not available during the six week Summer Recreation Program, as well as one week prior and after the program.
No alcoholic beverages or smoking is allowed on Town of Halfmoon property. The hours of operation are dawn to dusk. The Pavilion rental fee is $250. The fee is paid to the Town Clerk’s Office in advance of event . Renter must sign a hold harmless agreement stating to agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Town of Halfmoon from any claim arising out of its acts or omissions and from any and all losses whatsoever, whether for personal injuries or property damage, including but not limited to the cost of litigation, attorney fees, filing fees and expenses of each and every nature. A Certificate of Insurance naming the Town of Halfmoon, as additionally insured in covered amount of $1 million is required and must be received prior to rental date. Any additional users such as a DJ must also sign a Hold Harmless agreement and provide a Certificate of Insurance as noted above. Due to insurance liability, bounce houses and any inflatable apparatus are prohibited on Town property for private use. Renter must sign a Pavilion Use Permit assuming responsibility for the key to the building and its immediate return on the day noted on the agreement. All paperwork must be completed and received in the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:00PM or Wednesday until 7:00PM prior to the event. Responsibility is also assumed for leaving the Pavilion in a clean condition.
