John Pingelski began working for the Town of Halfmoon in November 1988 at the Halfmoon Highway Department. He is currently in his 30th year of service to the Town.
In November 2007 John was elected by the residents of Halfmoon to become the Town’s Highway Superintendent. In addition to maintaining 114 miles of roads he is also responsible for the Transfer Station and the Senior Bus, part of those duties includes working within their budgets.
John is a 4th generation Halfmoon Resident now raising his two daughters Katelyn and Courtney with his wife Annemarie in Halfmoon. He enjoys gardening and water activities on the Great Sacandaga Lake.
