Surgical Masks Are Needed

Cindy Schmehl is heading up a project to make surgical masks for hospitals. Since March 19th she has already gone through 96 yards of material. This project is a coordinated effort between Cindy and Rilla Langley Schulte based in Salem, NY.
​Masks are already in the hands of nurses from Saratoga and St. Peter’s Hospital.
​Cindy and Rilla are looking for:
People to sew masks using their own cotton material People to sew (we can provide them with material and supplies) Cotton fabric, 1/2”or 1/4’ elastic, elastic headbands, elastic pony tail holders, bias tape  to be donated for people who want to sew.
All masks will be sanitized at the hospitals.
Materials and supplies can be dropped off at 7 Eastwood Drive, Ballston Lake.

316 Route 423, Stillwater
482 County Route 30, Salem
90 Comstock Road, Greenfield Center
Cudneys Cleaners, West Ave, Saratoga Springs.
St. Luke’s Church, 40 McBride Rd., Mechanicville. Identified bins by Tuesday afternoon.
