Area Code Overlay

The Town received a notice from Time Warner Cable that the Area Code Overlay has been approved for the NY 518 Area Code and adding the new 838 area code to the area served by 518. To complete calls in the 518 area code requires callers to dial the area code then the phone number beginning March 18^th. Beginning August 19^th you must use this procedure or calls will not go through.
