LOST: 

 Since early morning 1/6/23, "Lily" a grey tabby with stripes, greenish yellow eyes from vicinity of Halfmoon Heritage Apartments-16 Heirloom Lane.. Microchipped, but info returns under previous name of "Ash".  If found, please call Eliza Grande at 315-982-1457.

Since October 18th, 2022- "Spot", a 3 1/2 year old spayed female gray and white long haired cat with a gray spot on her nose and upper lip from the vicinity of Dunsbach Road (section nearest Woodin Road). Originally a feral cat but now with a loving home.  If seen please call Kathy Kowsky, 132 Dunsbach Road, Halfmoon, NY @ 518-371-3985.

Since evening of July 5th, 2021- "Muffin", an all white, domestic short-haired female cat, spayed, microchipped, missing a front canine toorh.  She spooks easily, do not pursue.  Vicinity of Schooner Court in the Landings Complex.  Please call Hannah Dordick @ 518-810-1145 if you spot her.

Since Wednesday September 16th. 2020, "Chatty", a neutered male, Sealpoint Siamese cat, last seen wearing a gray leather collar, vicinity of Tinothy Way, in the Fairway Meadows subdivision of Halfmoon.  Please call Laura @ 518-487-8380 with any sightings.  Photo to follow.

Since approximately a week prior to June, 23rd, 2020, "Oscar" , an intact male, long-haired, pale orange tiger cat with a bump in his tail, was wearing a flea and tick collar, from the vicinity of  Lower Newtown Road in Halfmoon, NY.  Please call Elizabeth Begin @ 518-818-4495 with any sightings.

Since June 2, 2020, "Bootsey" a long-haired, unneutered male, black cat with white paws, a white nose stripe, and a broad white band down his underside.  Bootsey was wearing a flea collar and went missing from the vicinity of 148 Anthony Rd.  If sighted please call Morgan Disarno @ 518-728-5058.Missing cat Anthony Road

PICKED UP BY ANIMAL CONTROL: 

2/23/22- Female Rottweiler, adult, brown leather collar, Grooms Road near Woodin.  Dog was brought to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter.

Additional Information

All pets picked up by Animal Control are brought to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter facility at 6010 County Farm Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. The Shelter is open M-F 10-4 – closed holidays and their phone number is 518-885-4113. 

We recommend you call the Shelter before going to reclaim your pet, as there may be information they require before they can release your pet such as rabies vaccination status and licensing. 

Redemption fees to reclaim your pet are as follows: 

  • Dog first offense: $10.00 + proof of current rabies inoculation
  • Dog second and subsequent offenses: $50.00 + proof of current rabies inoculation.
  • Cat fee: Not applicable but must show proof of current rabies inoculation.
