Benefits of Becoming a Member

  • It might be especially interesting to new people to learn the historical facts of Halfmoon.
  • To work with people who have similar historical interests.
  • To find information about family histories.
  • To hear stories about what it was like in previous centuries as well as our current century. Few people know that this area was typically a farming area after World War II.
  • Just for the sheer fun of attending meetings and workshops to piece together the history of our town.
  • As well as working in the past, we want your input of the present, which will someday be the past.

PATRON PROGRAM

There is no membership fee. We are a non-profit society. We have developed a patron program to help offset some of our costs. There are three categories of this program. These are:

  • Historian Patron-a gift of $100 per year
  • President Patron-a gift of $50 per year
  • Society Patron-a gift of $20 per year
